As a scientist, inventor, and innovator, she has achieved remarkable accomplishments in building and directing education and workforce development programs, including the Rutgers-New Brunswick Data Science undergraduate programs. With a track record of successful grants procurement and prudent management, she spearheads education initiatives at undergraduate and graduate levels, emphasizing diversity, equity, and inclusion. Dr. Varma drives interdisciplinary collaborations on campus, empowering students with science, technology, and business expertise.
